Spent many great visits with Jim at City Meat Market when we'd come to Melrose for visits.

Always a true gentleman, he was a master butcher and sausage maker. And a fine man.

My favorite memory is his expression of shock shared as he said, You put Katsup on my sausage?
Stopped using the katsup after that conversation. He was right. Melrose City Meat Market sausage was perfect, just baked.

Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Prayers for all of you.
